Firebase imports
Last updated October 29, 2026
BuizStack can pull Crashlytics crashes into Issues and Google Analytics 4 events into Analytics from Firebase's BigQuery export, so apps already on Firebase show up without code changes.
1. Turn on the Firebase BigQuery export
- In the Firebase console, open Project settings → Integrations → BigQuery and link the project.
- Enable the Crashlytics export and/or the Google Analytics export.
- Crashlytics writes to the dataset
firebase_crashlytics, one table per app (for examplecom_example_app_ANDROID). Google Analytics writes dailyevents_YYYYMMDDtables toanalytics_<property id>.
2. Give BuizStack read access
Grant buizstack-api@buizstack.iam.gserviceaccount.com BigQuery Data Viewer on each dataset you import.
3. Create the import
- Dashboard: Settings → Firebase imports → New import, then pick the app, the kind, and the project, dataset and table.
- AI assistant: it uses
create_firebase_importwith the app id fromget_project.
Imports run hourly. Crashlytics backfills 14 days and then follows new crashes; they are grouped into issues like any other error. Google Analytics backfills 30 days of daily event counts and active users, and re-reads the last 3 days as Google updates them.
